California Lighthouse
Arashi Beach (Swimming) and many more sights along the way…

Explore Aruba in an air-conditioned bus. Your friendly and professional tour guide will show you the attractions and natural landmarks of Aruba. Your first stop will take you to the Aloe Vera Factory and Museum. Aloe, first introduced to the island in 1840, became a very important part of Aruba’s history. At one point Aruba was the largest exporter of Aloe in the world with almost two-thirds of the island covered in plants. You will have the opportunity to take a tour through the state-of-the-art Aruba Aloe Factory and learn more about its history in the adjacent museum. Next you will visit the Casibari Rock Formation. One of Aruba’s famous natural wonders the Casibari Rock Formation. This rock formation is a cluster of huge rocks. The rock formation, unique to the more typical features of the area, inexplicably rises up from the desert soil to create an unusual setting. Some of the rocks weigh several tons and feature peculiar forms. The Government of Aruba has created walking trails and steps through the rocks, allowing hikers to reach the top to obtain breathtaking views of the island. Your third stop will be at the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins. Gold fever is a treacherous condition in which many men dream but few get rich. Aruba experienced this malady beginning in the early 19th century. Early prospectors were local men with shovels and picks. Starting in 1854, the rights to mine went to a successive list of professional companies who tried and usually failed to be profitable. One of them, the Aruba Island Gold Mining Company, built their elaborate mill on the northern coast in 1874 along with roads and a pier. The English company abandoned the smelting operation in 1881. By 1916, the gold rush was over. These ruins along the coastline are fun to explore. Next you will travel to Alto Vista Chapel. The chapel was built on the site of the first Catholic church built in Aruba in 1750 by a Spanish missionary. It is a special place for peace and contemplation, surrounded by the Aruban countryside. The next stop will be at the famous California Light House, named after a ship called the California, which has the distinction of having received distress signals from the Titanic as she went down in icy waters in 1912. This area offers some of the most beautiful scenic views of Aruba. Your final stop will be at Arashi Beach. Famous for its beautiful white sand. You will get the opportunity to go for a swim, do some tanning or have a drink at the beach bar.
Day 3:
Arikok Hiking Tour
After breakfast we will pick you up at your Hotel for tour #2 Arikok Hiking Tour.

Duration: 3½ hours

The best way to discover the real Aruba! Nearly 20% of Aruba is a designated National Park and home to a long list of animal species and plant life. The Arikok National Park is a great place to enjoy the dramatic landscapes. The Visitors’ Center has a modern sustainable design and houses an exhibit of Aruba’s endemic animals such as the Aruban whiptail lizard (cododo), Aruban cat eye snake (santanero) and endangered rattle snake (cascabel). Park rangers will escort you on this hike that will showcase fascinating flora and fauna and interesting historical sites. The Arikok National Park is home to priceless gems that we know are rare because they are indigenous to our island. The Aruban burrowing owl (Shoco), Aruban rattlesnake, Aruban whiptail lizard, and Aruban parakeet (Prikishi) can be found in the Aruba National Park where they live together with the native flora and fauna supported by the protected unusual land formations made from lava, quartz diorite and limestone.
Day 4:
Aruba Fauna Tour
After breakfast we will pick you up at your Hotel for tour #3 Aruba Fauna Tour.

The following stops are made on this tour:
Aruba Ostrich Farm
Donkey Sanctuary
Philip’s Animal Garden
and many more sights along the way….

Duration: 4½ hours

First you will visit the Aruba Ostrich Farm. The Aruba Ostrich Farm welcomes you to come and meet its 80- count flock of the largest living species in the world. Visitors are encouraged to partake in a guided tour of the farm, inhabited by both ostriches and their flightless Australian relatives, emus. The tour provides the opportunity to learn about the natural behavior and survival instincts of these amazing creatures through detailed information as well as personal encounters with the birds. Next you will get the opportunity to mingle with some real locals at the Donkey Sanctuary. Founded in 1997 as a non-profit and completely volunteer run organization, their mission is simple. Save the Donkeys! Although not originally native to the small island of Aruba, they have existed here for 500 years having been the primary mode of transportation until cars began to be introduced on the island in increasing numbers. At that point, many Arubans no longer had the need for their formerly beloved donkey, and sadly in the 1970’s, a dangerous and rapidly spreading illness nearly caused their extinction leaving behind a population of only 20 wild donkeys. Lastly you will visit Philip’s Animal Garden. After years of saving and adopting abused and abandoned animals, Philip Merryweather has turned his love for exotic animals into a world-class shelter and rehabilitation center. Philip’s Animal Garden is offering up interactive and educational tours, where you can enjoy an up close and personal experience with over 50 species of exotic animals from around the world. Visitors are invited to see, touch and even feed some of the garden’s exotic inhabitants.
